Retired Port Authority cops tell Mamdani, Hochul to stay home from NYC 9/11 ceremony: ‘Would cause profound pain’

The association pointed to Mamdani's Israel-bashing "rhetoric and affiliations that we believe have been hostile to law enforcement" as the reason for their demands, as well as political statements they view as "sympathetic" to anti-American movements or individuals.
